ABOG – Two Positions Available

The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) is seeking physician leaders to fill two important positions:

Associate Executive Director (AED) and Chief of Medical Affairs (COMA), a strategic leader providing leadership and medical expertise to standards, professionalism, and the credentialing process.

Associate Executive Director (AED) and Chief of Medical Practice and Certification Innovation (COPII), will work in a dyad partnership with the Chief of Assessments (COA) to develop and deliver innovative, rigorous, and equitable certification programs.

AGOS Statement Regarding Roe vs. Wade

The American Gynecological and Obstetrical Society denounces the United States Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. AGOS supports the reproductive rights and autonomy of ALL people including pregnant people. Government officials should not be allowed to dictate health care decisions for individuals. Abortion is safe and essential for equitable reproductive care. We stand united with other health care professional organizations in committing to advocacy and action based in science and medicine on behalf of women and families.
