BY CONSENTING TO THE TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT FOR THE AGOSONLINE.ORG WEB SITE, OR BY USING THE WEB SITE, YOU CONSENT TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

The information that You provide to AGOS to become a Member during the AGOS Member registration or renewal process, including name, address, phone, together with any additional information You provide to AGOS and information regarding the manner in which You use Your AOGS Membership, will not be processed or disclosed by AGOS except as permitted by this Policy or as required or allowed by applicable law or legal process.

When possible, the AGOS Web Site will provide You with the means to make sure that Your Member information is correct and current. You may view Your name, address, phone number, facsimile number and e-mail address collected from You when becoming a Member or renewing Membership by entering the Members Only Site (using Your AGOS Web Site Unique ID and AGOS Web Site Password) and then reviewing Your information in the On-Line Membership Directory. For any other information not appearing in the On-Line Membership Directory, You must contact AGOS directly in one of the four ways listed below. To correct any factual inaccuracies, You must send AGOS a request that shows the error and the requested change. AGOS will make a good faith effort to process valid changes, but AGOS does not promise to do so within a particular time frame. AGOS will send You a confirmation e-mail once a change is affected.

The AGOS Web Site gives users the following options for contacting AGOS to change or modify information previously provided:

AGOS endeavors to protect the security of data collected on the AGOS Web Site. The AGOS Web Site uses an encrypted connection when transferring sensitive Personal Information. AGOS uses Your Personal Information to operate the AGOS Web Site, to contact You (including regular e-mail alerts and AGOS meeting or conference notices); to populate Your entry in AGOS’ Membership Directory; and to comply with applicable law.

AGOS uses “cookies” to save Your AGOSWeb Site Unique ID and AGOS Web Site Password so that You do not have to re-enter it each time You visit the AGOS Web Site.

The AGOS Web Site contains links to other sites. AGOS is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites or of its cosponsors.

The AGOS Web Site may store and disclose Personal Information as allowed or required by applicable law, including but not limited to making disclosures that are necessary or advisable to: (a) conform to legal or regulatory requirements or comply with legal process; and (b) protect the rights, safety or property of AGOS, the AGOS Web Site or others (including but not limited to other providers, suppliers and vendors), or the users of the AGOS Web Site or the public.
