History
The American Gynecological and Obstetrical Society (AGOS) was formed through the union of the American Gynecological Society and the American Association Obstetricians and Gynecologists. The inaugural meeting of AGOS was held in 1982 at The Homestead (pictured above) in Hot Springs, Virginia.
